Twilight golf is very popular at Atalaya Golf & Country Club for both club members and our many greenfee guests. Costa del Sol’s pleasant afternoon breezes create the perfect setting for a most enjoyable round as evening approaches.
In the spirit of promoting twilight golf, Atalaya’s Captains Richard Phillimore and Lynne Hood recently organised a ten hole competition on the New Course. Called the Sundowner Special, Atalaya members and their guests enjoyed the challenge of a four person scramble followed by a delicious barbecue at the Clubhouse.
Competition winners were Atalaya’s own Keith and Eileen Audas and their guests from Aloha Golf June Rendle and her son Miles. Second Place honours went to the team of Captain Phillimore and his wife Nina and Franz and Martine Arnold.
