PRACTICE FACILITIES
THE PG GOLF & SPORTS ACADEMY AT ATALAYA
The vision for the PG Golf & Sports Academy at Atalaya is to offer the very best of facilities where golfers can practice all aspects of the game, guided by a team of experienced and multi-lingual professionals. The academy plans to introduce the latest ball-tracking technology in the future to support the teaching professionals, as well as allowing players to self-analyse their own swing performance. The Academy will also be offering summer camps, facilities for junior golf and group lessons.
Beyond golf, a number of paddle tennis courts are to be built, expanding the opportunity for academy members to enjoy competitive sport in a first class facility.
The Academy is headed by Swedish Tour Pro Peter Gustafsson, who has played professionally in over 80 countries, with 11 wins on international tours and two second-place finishes on the European Tour.
You will enjoy a full-length driving range playing from both natural grass lies and a number of covered bays with synthetic services. There is a large practice green, maintained to course specifications allowing an accurate feel for pace and speed. Additionally, there is an extensive chipping area providing different lies, together with two practice bunkers.
Practice balls are available by way of a coin-operated dispenser and memberships and a card system will be available shortly.
There is also a café offering drinks and snacks to sustain you whilst you are practicing, complemented by casual seating areas.
Coaching is available individually or in groups and optionally can include video lessons in the well-equipped golf studio. Atalaya members will enjoy a 25% discount on Academy membership and lessons.

The Academy is located adjacent to the 13th fairway, approximately a kilometre away from the clubhouse (see below for directions). There is ample free parking available at the facility.
CLUB HOUSE
Before you tee off!
Adjacent to the clubhouse, members and green fee players will discover an excellent short game practice facility, complemented by three driving nets, perfectly positioned near the 1st tee and 18th green of the Old Course.
The area features two meticulously maintained practice bunkers, a Bermuda grass putting green (matching the greens of the New Course), and a spacious Bentgrass putting green located next to the 10th tee, identical to the greens on the Old Course and maintained to championship standards, offering an authentic feel for pace and speed. In addition, the facility includes dedicated chipping areas and a 75-metre practice hole, ideal for refining pitch shots with precision.
For added convenience, the club’s café is just steps away, serving a curated selection of drinks and gourmet snacks—perfect for a pre-round energiser or a stylish post-practice refreshment.
