Atalaya’s own Valentina Albertazzi scored a very impressive -4 on Day One and a noteworthy -1 on Day Two when the Gecko Tour made its first 2018 winter season stopover at Atalaya Golf & Country Club on the 3rd and 4th of December. The two-day tournament was held on the New Course and was one of 20 events that Gecko will host at Andalucia’s top courses this winter.

Although Valentina’s scores were not enough for her to win the New Course challenge, her results remain most commendable.

The esteemed and talented young golfer is right now in Florida participating in four tournaments that allow players to earn points for the WAGR (World Amateur Golf Ranking). Valentina’s goal is to score necessary points to heighten her placement in this ranking.

For this reason Valentina was unable to play the second leg of this winter’s Gecko Tour stop at Atalaya. This tournament was held on the Old Course on Thursday and Friday, the 6th and 7th of December.

Please enjoy the attached photos taken on both the New and Old courses during the Gecko Tour’s recent visits to Atalaya.
