This unique golf tournament for members and guests was a great success, with the players all enjoying the novel format, where the number of the starting tee bore no relation to the number of the finishing hole. (Rumour has it that some players scored better under this format!).
The nine-hole event saw golf buggies zig-zagging all over the Old Course, although no casualties were reported. The players then enjoyed some refreshments and pizzas at the kiosk, where Richard Phillimore and his guest Ivan Brems were declared the winning pair with a score of 23 net points. Many thanks to Martyn Lesser and Peter Oliver for organising another successful event at Atalaya golf.
