After some long summer holidays for several of our members, it was good to see many familiar (and some new) faces at our traditional Captains Drive-In charity day.
The individual stableford competition was followed by both captains making their way to the first tee for the drive-in. The charity money is raised by players guessing the difference in distance between the two drives (seven metres), and this year Matthias Rapp came closest to the figure. Matthias kindly gave his winnings to the charity and we managed to raise €240 for collective calling, an organisation dedicated to combat homelessness and its associated challenges.
The day was rounded off with a wonderful barbeque prepared by Mirko and the restaurant team.
