Atalaya Golf, one of the most iconic golf resorts on the Costa del Sol, proudly participated this week in the prestigious KLM Open, held at the Amsterdam International Golf Course. This appearance at a top-tier DP World Tour event reinforces Atalaya’s ongoing commitment to promoting Andalusian golf on an international stage.
In collaboration with the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation (RFGA) and under the umbrella of Golf Andalucía, Atalaya Golf was represented at the tournament’s official stand, where the region’s exceptional golf offering was showcased: outstanding courses, a privileged climate, world-class service, and excellent international connectivity.
Atalaya’s General Manager, Andrés Sánchez, attended the event in person to represent both the club and the broader Andalusian golf destination, which boasts more than 105 top-quality courses.

“Events like the KLM Open offer a key opportunity to engage with European golfers, tour operators, and media, helping to reinforce Atalaya’s position as a top international golf destination,” Sánchez stated.
With more than 50 years of history, Atalaya Golf remains committed to delivering excellence in facilities, environmental sustainability, and player experience — a combination that has made it one of the most respected and visited golf clubs in Southern Spain.
Participation in the KLM Open highlights Atalaya Golf’s global vision and its active role in promoting high-quality golf tourism in Andalucía.
