Saturday, 13 September 2025 was all about lift-off at Atalaya Golf & Country Club as we hosted a qualifier of the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup on our Costa del Sol fairways. From first tee to final putt, the buzz mixed premium course conditions with that friendly, international club vibe Atalaya is known for. Turkish Airlines brought the energy—and golfers brought their best games for a day that felt part tournament, part celebration.
For anyone new to it, the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup is a global, invitation-only amateur series with 100+ qualifiers spanning 70+ countries—a true world tour for passionate golfers. Each local event crowns an overall champion who earns a place at the season-ending Grand Final in Türkiye, scheduled this year for 16–22 November 2025. It’s competitive, yes—but also famous for top-tier hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere.
Atalaya’s layout did the rest. Rolling fairways, quick greens and the clubhouse scene after the round gave players and guests the full “golf day” experience—practice, play, stories, and plenty of smiles. It’s the kind of day that reminds you why our community—spanning more than 36 nationalities—loves calling Atalaya home for golf.
