Manuel Luis Pellegrini Ripamonti is a qualified civil engineer, Chilean football manager and former footballer, who is the manager of Premier League side Manchester City.

As a coach, he has managed teams mostly in Spain, Argentina, Chile and Ecuador.

Pellegrini took up the manager’s role at Málaga in November 2010. He led Málaga to a fourth-place finish in his first full season and to qualification for the UEFA Champions League.

They have two beautiful courses and I was lucky enough to have a lesson with one of the Pro’s.

He was an incredible teacher and reinstated my love of golf once more, so much so I hit the golf club as soon as I returned to the UK and my game has improved dramaticaly.

I also got the chance to fish on two of their lakes on the course where I was able to catch some sizeable Barbels however the Carp remained elusive to me and they could be seen under the water circling my hook and stealing my bait!

In addition to the amazing grounds, all the staff where friendly and helpful and definitely understand what good “customer service” involves.

The views, the courses, the staff and generally everything about the place was beautiful and I would highly recommend a visit!”

Jeff competed on the European tour for fourteen years before taking a coaching job in Italy, now living in Marbella Jeff combines coaching with competing on the European senior tour and running his real estate business.

Gary’s dreams of winning the Open may have faded but he is more involved than most of us could ever dream of, he has followed in his fathers footsteps getting his hands on the claret jug more times than any other person.

Gary has now been engraving the claret jug for the last fourteen years and will be at St Andrews this July mixing with the best players in the world.

– Old Course, which was designed by Bernard von Limburger, Golf champion of Germany in 1925. This is characterized by its wide fairways and greens high.

– New Course, par 71, created in 1990 by Paul Krings: lies further inland, but also gives the feeling flat course, with wide fairways and greens fast.

For six months, the event organizers worked to add the largest number of sponsors of the initiative.
