Scrub land cleaned on the New Course

With this in mind and with Atalaya Golfs constant commitment with the environment, works have been undertaken in order to limit the proliferation of these fires. Scrub land has been cleaned close to the New Course, maintaining trees and native plants which will both benefit from this.

All the brushwood has been collected and recycled. These works apart from impeding the proliferation of fires will make it an easier job for those players who loose there balls in these areas, this will reduce search time and speed up play.

In these images you can appreciate the work undertaken, a lake has been cleaned and will be enlarged in order to increase the volume which can be stored. This holding lake is connected to the lake on the 13th hole of the Old Course.

New fleet of Club Car Buggies

We have come to an agreement with the company RIVERSA for 57 Club Cars, cream-coloured and also electric. Our members and guests will be delighted with their use whilst playing their favourite sport. Club Car is the world’s largest manufacturer of small-wheel, zero-emissions electric vehicles.

Les Roches Golf Course Master visits Atalaya Golf for second time

This time they were on different departments, first of all the had a meeting with Frank Beckmann, members ex-president and Lufthansa ex-vice-president, who explained them the political scheme, member’s committees, their social life in the Club with over 35 nationalities, their By-laws, relation with the Company Atalaya Golf & C.C. International S.A., and the collaboration with the General Manager.

Also the field marshal explained them his duties and job-description as well that from the starter of the first tee. They entered the pro-shop and the caddy-masters to get more familiar with their system of working, behavior with the clients and products what they have to offer.

Andrés Sánchez represents the Real Andalucian Golf Federation in Zurich

During those days the Real Andalucian Golf Federation team have been introducing the destination and its benefits to all the interested visitors. The most important issue is that almost all the people knows Andalucía as golf destination, some of them already knows the zone and are likely coming back to play our courses.
