Atalaya Golf & Country Club proudly celebrates the outstanding performance of two of our members, Frank Stockmans and Jorgen Van Vuuren, who achieved a remarkable second-place finish at the 2025 Spanish Senior Men’s Doubles Championship, held at Larrabea Golf Club in Álava.
The pair posted a total of 144 strokes (74 on the first day under the Better Ball format, and an excellent 70 in the second day’s Greensome format), recording the best round of the day on Thursday. Their impressive performance placed them just four strokes behind the champions, seasoned Catalan players Jorge Rubio and Juan Leach, who claimed their third title with a total of 140 strokes (68+72).
