At Atalaya Golf we had the pleasure of welcoming Gustavo Poyet, the former Uruguayan international football player and coach, to our Old Course.

Poyet, who built an impressive career in clubs such as Real Zaragoza, Chelsea FC, and Tottenham Hotspur, and later managed teams including Sunderland, AEK Athens, and the Greek national team, enjoyed a day of golf on our fairways, swapping the pitch for the green.

His visit is a true honor for our Club and a reminder that the passion for sport knows no boundaries. From football stadiums to golf courses, legends like Poyet continue to inspire with their dedication and love for the game.

We have incorporated two new Toro Greensmaster Triflex Hybrid machines, ideal for the precise and sustainable maintenance of the greens on both the Old and New Course.

Electric Vehicle Charging & Parking

We offer ample parking in our multi-level car park next to the clubhouse, with spaces available for electric vehicles (we recommend contacting us in advance to confirm charging point availability). Our parking area is designed to provide easy access to the club and its main facilities.

Walk or Ride – You Choose

At Atalaya Golf, you’re free to walk the course — something not all clubs allow. For those who prefer to rent:

• We have a modern fleet of electric buggies (Club Car / Yamaha Drive-2), quiet, comfortable, and eco-friendly (up to 75 units in operation).
• Buggy rates: Approx. €42 for 18 holes, €25 for 9 holes.

You can also rent a trolley:

• Manual trolley (3 wheels): approx. €8
• Electric trolley: approx. €16 — perfect if you want to walk without carrying your bag.

Club Rental

If you’re traveling without your own clubs or want to try something new, we offer:

• Standard sets: approx. €28 per person/day
