Pablo Martin Benavides win again three years later. The Malaga player has been imposed in The Gecko Pro Tour played at the Old Course at Atalaya, after an exciting playoff with the British John E. Morgan.
Probably, it has been the most exciting golf day of the season in The Gecko Pro Tour. Nerves were on edge and maximum voltage during the last 18 holes. A bad round began for the champion. Pablo made two bogeys on the front nine and gave advantage to Morgan.
From that moment, there was a wonderful golf battle. Seven outstanding holes. Golf in its pure state. The exchange of birdies was fabulous. Both did so on the 12th, 14th and 17th. The draw came with a final bogey of Pablo.
How was the playoff hole between Morgan and Martin?
Despite coming from a bogey on the 18th, the Malaga player made a sensational birdie on the same hole and Morgan made the pair.
Morgan is not just any player. In 2004 lost a playoff against Australian Mark Hensby to win the John Deere Classic PGA Tour.
