At Atalaya Golf, innovation remains at the core of our commitment to excellence, sustainability, and harmony with our surroundings. In recent months, our maintenance team has been testing state-of-the-art robotic mowers, aiming to find a solution that delivers on three key fronts: uniform cutting quality, minimal noise impact, and operational reliability.
One of the most valuable advantages of these machines is their ability to operate almost silently, allowing us to maintain the peace and quiet of nearby residential areas, particularly during early morning hours. At the same time, robotic mowers provide an exceptional level of cutting precision, significantly enhancing the condition of our greens and fairways—and ultimately, the playing experience for our members and guests.
So far, we’ve tested four different brands, carefully evaluating factors such as cut quality, autonomy, terrain adaptability, and integration with our management systems. This rigorous testing process reflects our belief in never settling for “good enough,” but always striving for the best—for our course, and for those who live around it.
